TL;DR 📣 Your path to success: \n
\n What Makes the Difference\nFor the past year, I have been working closely with podcasters helping them to nail their next big milestone(s). I've also seen the opposite: Passionate people lose track, fail to rebuild momentum and burn out. 🥵 \nThe ones who won't succeed all make a mix of the same five mistakes. Podcast growth doesn't work out if you are: \n
It hurts to see this. Because there is just no need to fall into those traps. \nI'd like to show you what winning podcasters are doing instead and how we help with 🎚️ St. Audio. \n\n
1. Level Your Production to Distribution Ratio\nThere is no way you won't see results if you manage to put as much work, time, and love into your podcast's distribution as you put into production. \nOf course, you're already short on time and your availability for marketing measures will not expand magically. \nStill, there are always tactics that won't cost you a lot of time but will get you closer to your goal. Start with identifying the ones with low effort and great impact first. \nOn the other hand, to free up time you can templatize recurring workflows and automate or delegate tasks. And - most importantly - discontinue things (see #2). \nPreferably don't cut short on the stuff you like to do or see as the most valuable for your podcast. Those infusions of love make a difference. \nTry to even the ratio of production to distribution to build on your podcast's success. \n\n
2. Stop Doing More\nShows who join the 🏕️ Growth Club will get inspiration on how to improve their growth, monetization, and workflows all the time. And that's great! \nBut there is no need to do it all at once. \nSimply stack your inspiration in an idea backlog to prioritize at a later stage. \nAnd if you want to add anything to your schedule or to-do list for the next month, make sure to identify the one thing you should stop doing. \nBecause you don't have to continue every activity forever and ever. \nIn fact, most of your growth tactics will reach an end of efficiency sooner than later. Be ready to let go of tactics that no longer serve your growth. \nAdjust according to your growth phase and (timely, financial, or personal) resources. \n\n
3. Focus On One Milestone at a Time\nAre you familiar with the saying \"A podcast for everyone is a podcast for no one\"? \nThe same is true with your distribution strategy. Working towards every goal possible won't get you anywhere. \nFocus on one or two concurrent milestones that really would make a difference to you right now. Let them guide you to those accurate tactics that are both impactful and effective. \nNot only will this get you to your goal the fastest, but it will also allow you to move on to the next milestone sooner. \nBTW, we identified the eight most important growth targets you can achieve: \n
Choose one and add specificity by linking success to a trackable metric and a desirable time frame. \n\n
4. Stick to the Plan\nShiny objects syndrome a.k.a. distraction is a real thing. Because new ideas are always slightly more interesting than the plan you already figured out and committed to. \nI've seen this over and over again and would like to suggest: Just follow the plan. \nCertainly, there are a gazillion reasons why you might need a change of plans - because assumptions turn out to be wrong, implementation fails, the market suddenly changes, or resources will fall flat. \nSo let me shift to: Don't quit solely because it's hard doing the stuff. \nSome growth measures will take time to show effects. And mostly all will compound over time. 🌀 \nYour next big milestone was chosen because it meant something to you in the first place and would make a difference. Try to get there first and new options will present themselves. \n\n
5. Grow With Confidence\nLife happens, I get it. You can't do much about serious stuff anyway. \nAt least you can work on your feeling of being overwhelmed by the effort necessary. \nDefine consistency for you and stop comparing yourself with other podcasters. \nSometimes all it needs is a little feedback, encouragement, accountability, guidance, and training to take out the stress and gain confidence. \nWe'd love to help you with that. \nContinue your growth journey with AI guidance and step-by-step instructions.
